What this site collects, why, and for how long. Short version: no cookies, no third parties, no tracking across sites.
No cookies
This site sets no cookie on your browser, other than the technical one WordPress uses if you log in to the administration. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
No third parties
Every font, script, image and style sheet is served from this domain. No Google Fonts, no analytics service, no advertising network, no embedded social widget. Your browser talks to this server and to nobody else.
Audience measurement
Visits are counted, without cookies and without following anyone from one site to another. What is recorded: the date, the page, the domain name of the referring site, the type of device, the browser, and an approximate country and city.
Your IP address is never stored. It is used for the duration of the request only, to compute an anonymous visitor fingerprint whose key changes every day. That makes it impossible to follow the same person from one day to the next. Records are deleted after 730 days.
If your browser sends a « Do Not Track » or « Global Privacy Control » signal, the measurement does not run at all. That refusal is honoured, which is what makes legitimate interest a defensible basis here.
The contact form
What you write in the form is sent to me by e-mail and is not stored on this site. Your name and e-mail address are used to answer you, and for nothing else. They are never passed on.
To keep automated submissions out, the form counts how many messages come from the same IP address within an hour. Only a hash of that address is kept, and it expires after one hour.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, in Switzerland. Their servers keep the usual connection logs, over which this site has no control.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion, or object to its processing. Given the above, there is in practice very little to ask about, but the right stands. Write through the contact form.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
